Core Business

KAIFA's corn business is the research, development, production and sales of smart metering terminals such as smart electricity, water and gas meters and AMI system software. Taking the global smart energy system transformation and the large-scale installation of renewable energy under the dual-carbon strategy as an opportunity, KAIFA takes smart electricity meter as a starting point to provide customers with a complete smart energy management system solution covering multiple energy sources such as electricity, water and gas, integrated with hardware and software, and adaptable to various communication technologies.

KAIFA is one of the earliest companies in the world to participate in the research and development and deployment of smart meters. It has cooperated with the Italian National Electricity Company ENEL to carry out the research and development and large-scale deployment of the world's first generation of smart meters with automatic meter reading functions since 1998. For more than 20 years, KAIFA has taken the European market, which is at the forefront of global smart metering technology. With mature products, technologies and large-scale deployment experience verified by the European market, it has helped the construction of smart energy systems in the Middle East, Central Asia, South America, Southeast Asia, Africa and other regions.

In the context of the energy system's high requirements for operational stability and data privacy, KAIFA ensures the solid stability of the data base of energy metering systems in various countries with outstanding product reliability and security.

In terms of reliability, KAIFA has a high-standard professional testing laboratory with international advanced level recognized by CNAS to conduct strict verification and testing of products. The first generation of smart meter products deployed in Europe have successfully undergone the verification of the entire life cycle, and the product reliability has been fully verified by many developed countries. In addition, KAIFA has obtained a number of international authoritative product certifications with strict technical standards such as the EU MID and CE certifications and the Saudi Arabia SASO certification in overseas markets, with a total of more than 600 certifications of various types worldwide.

In terms of security, KAIFA has passed the UK NCSC defense security level certification. It is one of the earliest domestic smart metering product manufacturers to obtain the IEC62443-4-1 industrial network security CB certificate. It is one of the few Chinese companies that have obtained national information security certification in developed regions such as Western Europe.
